Club Badminton Javea is a friendly multi national badminton club for players of all ages and abilities. We have three courts and you don't need to book, just come along and play! You don't even have to be a member straight away, come along and get into the swing first!
The Club is based at the Javea Sports Centre in the Port area of the town, almost opposite the Guardia Civil offices on Avenida del Furs. The rear entrance leads to the main hall where the club plays and there is ample parking around the Centre itself.
The Club is Federated to the National Badminton Federation of Spain as well as the Comunidad Valenciana.
The Club is a non-profit making organisation, run by and for the benefit of it's members. The clubs philosophy is play badminton and have fun, respect and follow club rules and always be courteous.
We use a pegboard system to rotate play on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, particularly during busy evenings.
How to Join
To join the Club you will need the following;
- Residents - Copy of N.I.E.
- Non-Residents - Copy of Passport
- Two Passport sizes colour photo's for your ID card
- Copy of your health social service card or copy of your private health insurance policy which shows you are eligible.
Club Fees: (as of January 2009)
- Initial joining fee - €30 (one off payment)
- Annual Membership fee - €25 (annual payment)
- Juniors (inc membership fee) €15 per annum
If you are on holiday and want to play, it's just €4 per night.
